Part-Time Administrative Assistant Position Vacancy
The part time administrative assistant position will assist with the day-to-day office operations, assist the Borough Manager and staff, assist with accounts receivables and payables, payroll entries, update Borough website, answer phones, resolving customer claims, sort and file documents as needed, must be proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks software, must have good keyboard skills, strong organizational and analytical skills. Preferably, the candidate should have experience in a government office. Ambridge Borough Part Time Crossing Guard
Part Time Crossing Guard wanted for Ambridge Area School, Ambridge Borough. 6:45AM – 9:00AM and 2:30PM – 3:45PM. Applicants must be able pass background check and obtain Act 33 and Act 34 clearances. Applications are available at the Ambridge Municipal Building Administration Office or on the Borough website at www.ambridgeboro.org Closing for applications after position (s) are filled.

Beaver County Conservation District-West Nile Vector Control Program
The Beaver County West Nile Vector Control Program conducts surveillance through the County during the months of May through October annually. Mosquito traps are being set in public access areas and private properties with homeowner permission. The mosquito traps are usually set for approximately 24 hours and are clearly marked with identification. Examples of traps can bee seen on the attached flyer. DUQUESNE LIGHT – REPORTING STREETLIGHT ISSUES
Duquesne Light has provided an easier way for reporting streetlight issues. Anyone can now report issues through their website https://duquesnelight.com/customer-support/streetlight-outages No login credentials are needed to utilize this site for reporting issues. Users are required to enter the zip code (15003) and the street name or pole number (the pole number helps them identify exactly which pole has an issue). Using their site is easy! We appreciate you taking the time to report streetlight issues. Our office remains available to assist if you need help reporting issues.

2023 MEETING NOTICES
Please take notice that the Borough of Ambridge Council will conduct their monthly Public Meeting on the second Tuesday of each month and will conduct their monthly Workshop Meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month, both meetings at 6:30 p.m.
Please take notice that the following boards/commissions will meet as follows:
Borough of Ambridge Civil Service Commission will conduct their meetings to discuss general business the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m., as needed.
The Historic Architectural Review Board (HARB), will conduct their meetings to discuss general business the first Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m., as needed.
The Borough of Ambridge Planning Commission will meet for their regular meeting to discuss general business the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m., as needed.
The Borough of Ambridge Zoning Board will conduct their meetings to discuss general business the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m., as needed.
All meetings will take place at Ambridge Municipal Complex located at 600 Eleventh Street Ambridge, PA 15003. The location is ADA accessible.

The Beaver County Vector-borne Disease Control Program monitors and controls mosquito populations in the County to help protect the public from exposure to diseases like West Nile Virus.
